modern equipment for all our employees.
HISTORY
Established in 1992 as the one and only factory in the HKJ to manufacture PET Polyethylene terephthalate food grade, highly transparent plastic bottles. Which was a transition from the use of PVC
plastic bottles, which came to provide the local market with a qualitative shift in the field of plastic
packaging innovation and development.
In 1997 common trade name was changed to Diamond Plastic Factories and the company was moved
to its new and current location in Al-Qastal Industrial Area.
Constructed on an area of 10000 square meters, applying all building regulation standards to provide
maximum levels of safety and welfare regarding our work environment.
Diamond Plastic Factories is a simple limited partnership company located in Al Qastal industrial area.
As for the shareholders, 55% is owned by men and 45% are owned by women.
In 2000 we expanded in the PET manufacturing field to supply mineral water, food oil, Pesticide and
Juice filling factories with the new PET food grade polyesters.
In 2002 we had the privilege to be the first company to launch the forming future of PP Polypropylene
disposable food grade,
Unbreakable, highly transparent and microwave oven safe food containers, such as:
• Salad fruit and Dates trays.
• Wide variety of cups and plates.
• Jelly, Ice cream and many multipurpose containers
In 2004 printing on containers was launched with a new top of the line 6 colors printing
machinery.
2006 – 2011 more than 30 new products launched into the market of HKJ, fulfilling the needs
of our customers and forge ahead with our vision and policy’s.
2013 injection line for caps was launched with a new line of the highest quality products.
2014 A major expansion of the production lines began by purchasing new lines with the
highest production capacity available at that time.
2015-2017 The expansion process was continued with more new mass production lines.
With this expansion, more than 60 new high-quality food containers were launched to meet
the needs of the local and foreign markets, and these lines achieved an exceptional increase in
production capacity to meet the needs of different markets.
2021 The company obtained the FSSC22000 certificate, effective for 3 years. This certificate
achieves the highest international safety standards for products coming into contact with all
types of hot and cold foods and drinks.
